It would be wise to avoid the first mistake on our list while you’re still unsure about buying a vape online: choosing the wrong one. Vapers who are new to vaping can likely manage somewhere in the middle, but there will be a learning curve. Vapers who do not prime their coils frequently burn them, and this is one of the most common mistakes they make. Prime your coil by doing the following:

  1. Add a few drops of your favorite e-liquid directly to the exposed cotton.
  2. Let the liquid rest on the cotton for a few seconds before installing the coil.
  3. Let the tank sit for about ten minutes after filling it.

The only thing you have to do is do this every time you want to vape, and the coil will always be completely soaked.

  1. Making the wrong choice of nicotine level

It can be challenging for a novice vaper to choose the appropriate nicotine level. Some guidelines are in place, but nothing is etched in stone, and it’s easy to miss the mark. Too little nicotine and vaping won’t satisfy you; too much nicotine and vaping can leave you feeling woozy or coughing. The right amount of nicotine is usually found through a combination of common sense and experimentation. For those who normally smoke just a few cigarettes a day, a lower nicotine level will likely be more than sufficient for them. What’s important is that if you don’t get the right vape juice or if it’s too intense or not intense enough, do not be discouraged. Rather, reduce or increase nicotine levels until the right balance is found.
