Research and the Use of Sodium Dichloroacetate for Some Types of Cancer

A cancer treatment preference has been revealed with anelement that was once used for unusual metabolic situation. But the cancer communityhas absolutely no intentions of following up on dichloroacetate (DCA) research done at the University of Alberta located in Canada, and reported in 2007. That’s due to the fact that new anticancer drug DCA is no longer patented. There is no money to be made in test trials and getting FDA approval for DCA is an option for cancer treatment.

But the medical community doesn’t want anyone to hear about it. It endorses what most alternative cancer therapists have already known.

Back when Nixon started the “war on cancer” in the 1970s, the cancer business has prospered with money raised for research and very expensive chemo medication at $50,000 to $100,000 per round or more for therapies that are toxic and seldom work.

Drugs used as chemo therapyusually lead to calls for more business with drugs to ease side effects that are terrible. In the meantime, more people are getting cancer and most are dying from it, mainly due to the treatments being so toxic.

DCA research results

Evangelos Michelak is together with the Alberta University researchteam did test DCA on human cancer cells that were located outside of the body and in mice that were cancerous with amazing success. DCA was once used for rare metabolic disorders. The side effectsrarely occurred but included some numbness as well as an affected gait.

DCH in water

The mice received their DCA in water, and in weeks they showedamazing tumor shrinkage. This shows that DCA can be taken by mouth. DCA works by reestablishing the cells’ mitochondria. Michelakis and his team had made the discovery that the mitochondria in cancer cells are not damaged permanently. But this is not what mainstream medical community believes.

With malfunctioning mitochondria, cancer cells use glucose fermentation for energy needed for survival. This fermentation happens when glycolysis (glucose conversion) happens in an anaerobic cell environment, which can be created by:

  • Benign tumor masses
  • Toxins
  • Low pH levels

This establishes that sodium dichloroacetate is a viable option for cancer treatment.
